National Club Championships

On Monday we welcomed Edgbaston Priory to the club in the second pool match of the group stage of the Non-county player team category of the National Club Championships. Edgbaston being one of the premier clubs in the Midlands.
Our team comprised Scott Bailey, Alex Whitehouse and Paul Mathieson.
Scott got us of to the ideal start winning 3-0. Alex the started well but ultimately lost out 3-1. It was therefore down to Paul in the decider, and what a great performance winning 3-1 and clinching the match.
This puts us in a great position to at least get through to a play-off spot to possibly reach the finals weekend. We just have to wait on the result between Chapel Allerton and Edgbaston. So fingers crossed
